I consider fishing trips for families and beginners to be one of my specialties; I start with folks who have an interest in fishing but little or no 
knowledge. Take them out on the water for a successful adventure where they have fun and hopefully learn a little about what it takes to fish on their own.
The weather for the last few days has been nothing short of spectacular. I have been very fortunate to be fishing this week under crystal clear blue 
skies. Oh by the way the fishing has also been pretty good. AJ a longtime client caught this nice smallmouth on a fly today.
This morning’s scenic Maine boat trip was nothing less than outstanding. The weather was perfect; there was not a ripple on the water’s 
surface when we left the dock at 9 temperatures in the 60s without a cloud in the sky. Travelling upriver we saw a half dozen eagles and a river otter! Pretty unusual to see an otter out swimming like that for me.
