Snow this morning
It is November after all and winter is just around the corner, so the first snowfall is not unexpected. Still it is sort of sad to think that my fishing season is drawing to a close. Last week’s trip to Megunticook Lake in Camden may be my final bass fishing trip for the season.

camp called on Monday to report that the party scheduled for this week could not get flights to Maine and was cancelling. It is never a good thing to have a cancelation but under the circumstances certainly understandable.
leaves have fallen and it is easy to overlook the second act. Later in the month the oaks and beeches turn a brilliant rusty red and gold. I spent a warm afternoon fishing for pickerel in Round Pond and as you can see the colors are still a show stopper.
