Just a quick post to talk about how beautiful the weather has been this fall and the pictures are worth a thousand words. Fishing 
last weekend on two recent October mornings.
I have had a cancelation at the end of the month and have three days late in the month open for a little fishing.
October in Maine is a postcard. Especially this first week of the month the leaves are brilliant and even more so on a wet cloudy day. When the 
weather is clear we have brilliant blue skies to set off the foliage. The secret is out that is for sure, I have only a couple of days open at the end of the month and nothing else.
I was working in the office by 4AM this morning so after Argy and I returned from our walk I figured that it was time for a little R&R. I launched the Lund Alaskan on Seven Tree Pond and fished up in to Round Pond. Needless to say the day was spectacular and the pickerel panic is on! I caught a bunch of pickerel and bass most on a popper presented on my fly rod.
