Off to an early start!
After the winter we had with all of the snow and cold I never expected to be guiding the first week of May. The weather switched from cold and winter like to a pleasant dry spring with warm days not only today but stretching into the near term forecast. It is certainly not summer but for coastal Maine great May weather, the only down side is that the water temperatures have not jumped to warm the same way.

Yesterday was warm and sunny so Argy and I took the new Lund down to Seven Tree Pond. The boat launch was ice free even though a good part of the north end was covered in ice. We launched and motored up the Saint George into Round Pond looked around some and returned to Seven Tree. We went over to the eagle nest to see if it is occupied this spring and could not tell.
Maine Outdoors is here to help you create cherished memories of great times outdoors and that has been the goal since we started. A recent article on how to improve the level of happiness in your life in Fast Company (yes I am a subscriber) pointed out to me just how important our goal is.
