Fog and Stripers
This morning it was as foggy as it gets on the Saint George River. Luckily the tide was up which makes it easy to follow the shoreline to my fishing spots. Fog makes for some great striper fishing if not easy
navigation because the light is low longer in the day keeping the fish a little more active.

If there was one thing about being a guide that is more fun than all of the rest it is fishing with kids. Some are novices and have an interest some are more experienced and have a passion. Most are somewhere in the middle but no matter what they all bring an enthusiasm and joy that makes it just plain fun to be a guide. I’m enjoying a long stretch of families, kids, and grandkids this summer on fresh and saltwater.
