The forecast was less than promising for this morning the later it got the more likely rain was. This morning’s clients were not deterred, although they were delighted to hear that I had rain gear on board.

Summer arrived with little fanfare but delivered a nice stretch of weather for us to enjoy. I count seven days with perfect temperatures low humidity and almost cloud free skies.

I do trout fishing trips on a very limited basis, mostly because it is a shoulder season fishery in this part of the state. Trout like cold water and are most active here in the spring and late fall. Sometimes though a client is intent on trout fishing like today and I am glad for the opportunity.
