I had the pleasure of fishing with Travel Writer Sherry Ott of Otts World on Saturday. Sherry had not fished since she was a kid and wanted to experience what Maine has to offer. The weather could not have 
been more cooperative perfect blue skies, a few clouds for effect and not a lot of wind. The fish on the other hand were not nearly as cooperative.
My role as Executive Director of the Maine Professional Guides Association brings interesting opportunities. One of the recent ones was when a local radio show did a segment on Maine Guides. The 
interviewer gave me lots of time and asked a great deal about what I do as a guide. Except for the quality of my phone connection a great interview.
Yesterday was my first Nature Exploration Canoe Trip of the season. I spent the afternoon with a German family it was hot at Ayer Park when we started but the breeze kept the air comfortable on the water.
