Argy and I went on an adventure this spring. I have always wanted to see an iceberg and we took a trip to Newfoundland to do just that. A couple days of driving and an overnight ferry trip got us there early one morning.
Of course like us Newfoundland is having a chilly spring. The most remarkable feature though was the wind that blew almost constantly. Snow clearly visible on the higher terrain even in late May but what a beautiful place. We saw several moose, lots of caribou and icebergs by the dozen. The largest is in this picture I guessed it to be about 4o feet high and 200 feet long. It was grounded in this cove and of course he wind was blowing. What a sight! As you might imagine I have lots of stories to tell about a truly great adventure. I will happily share when we are together this summer.
I will strive to make a trip with me this summer an adventure like our spring vacation was.
