I have written in the past about how great it is to work with true professionals. They accomplish what they are there to do with a minimum of fuss and make it all seem simple, almost effortless. I work with the concierge at the Samoset pretty closely over the course of the summer. We work together arranging trips, answering questions and helping folks to have the vacation they dream of. I have come to respect the ladies who perform that role at the Samoset Resort in Rockport. They are very knowledgeable; always looking to help and my every interaction with them is a pleasure.
I know that they are frequently very busy (I have seen folks lined up waiting to talk with them) and trying to fulfill a guest’s interest on notice that is way too short but they always seem relaxed and eager to be helpful. Not only to the guests but to the guide on the other end of the line. Too frequently we do not take a minute to recognize the folks who help our days run smoothly and feel a little more positive. I am not going to miss this chance to say Cindy, Nina and Winnie thank you very much for always being helpful, positive and ensuring that our guests have a great vacation to remember. It is a pleasure to work with you!

No longer a secret, Maine is nationally known for bass fishing. Fish for smallmouths in secluded ponds with rocky shorelines. These aggressive fish are acrobatic and tireless. Largemouths lurk in weedy ponds and along lazy stretches of our rivers. Pick your passion bass can be taken with light spinning gear or flies.
