Resources to Help Plan Your Summer Adventure

We are now past the middle of May and I am enjoying talking and e-mailing with clients every day. It is always a pleasure to arrange a trip with clients that I have known for years and take a minute to tell a few stories. Meeting new clients is always a load of fun, being able to describe what I do, the places that we can go and the fun we can have is always a treat.

In the last few days a couple of excellent resources have come into my inbox that will help you plan your visit to our area. First a page built by Dominika at LeVatout in Waldoboro on places to eat in the area. This goes a long way to answer the question I am asked most frequently, where should we eat. The only omissions that I see from the list are Amalfi in Rockland; Argy’s favorite for steamed mussels with a great view and The Badger Café here in Union. The Badger puts up many of the meals served on full day trips in season. LeVatout offers packages that include trips with me if you are looking for an all-inclusive adventure.

The second resource is an article by John Christie in the Maine Sunday Telegram describing some of the day hikes in our area. If you would like to have someone lead you on trips like these day hikes have been added to our offerings this summer.

There you are a couple of great resources to use planning your vacation surrounding an Adventure with Maine Outdoors. I am looking forward to talking with you in the next couple of weeks.
