Fabulous Fall Fishing

This has been an excellent fall for fishing and today continued the pattern. This morning dawned cloudy and gradually cleared. The afternoon was cloudless and sunny with a pretty strong breeze out of the southwest. The fall color is getting brighter every day making for some stunning scenery.

We fished the same stretch that I reported on last week in this blog post. Although it was a half day trip and we were not able to cover all of the shoreline that we did last week. The big difference was that the largemouth bass showed up in good numbers. Pickerel were still part of the mix but largemouth of 2 to 4 pounds came to the boat steadily. I am looking forward to the next few days with settled weather (although chillier every day) and brighter fall colors each day.

I have a few open slots between now and Sunday, if you would like to go make a reservation today!
