It was a pleasure to work with Maine Outdoors on developing a communication product to present the results of our research. Don's creativity and attention to detail ensured that we created a piece that would catch the attention of decision makers, while keeping to our delivery schedule and budget. He made it easy for us to look good! Dee Mazzarese US Fish and Wildlife Service
Current and recent projects:
- Maine Outdoors is currently representing the Maine Bowhunters Association and the Maine Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation to the Maine Legislature and State Agencies.
- Publication of results from a survey project conducted in 13 Northeast states including the production of a CD-ROM that includes an imbedded video explaining the project.
At the Northeast Fish and Wildlife Conference held in Ocean City, Maryland the project was a centerpiece of the conference. At the plenary session over an hour was spent on implications of the results. At a presentation to the directors of state fish and wildlife agencies in the thirteen Northeast states the CD that Maine Outdoors produced was called brilliant. The project wrapped up with meetings at the National Conservation Training Center in West Virginia and at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service office in Hadley Massachusetts.

No longer a secret, Maine is nationally known for bass fishing. Fish for smallmouths in secluded ponds with rocky shorelines. These aggressive fish are acrobatic and tireless. Largemouths lurk in weedy ponds and along lazy stretches of our rivers. Pick your passion bass can be taken with light spinning gear or flies.
