Today my clients and I enjoyed near perfect weather for a fishing trip on Seven Tree and Round ponds. Clear blue skies with a breeze from the west and just enough white clouds to show off the color. It was cool when we started and when out of the sun a jacket was in order. A few trees along the water have started to turn red and the grass along the river has that golden autumn hue.
I have had several family fishing trips this week and can safely report that the perching is as good as it gets. Yesterday it was a fish a cast
for a good part of the afternoon under perfect blue skies as you can see.
We are having a few showers this morning and I am waiting to hear if my morning family fishing trip is going to happen. We have been pretty lucky this summer with not a lot of rainy days as we move into autumn they get more common.
