I recently heard this piece on public radio and it jogged my mind on a topic I have been thinking about lately. That is that the hunters and anglers of this country have lead conservation efforts in the United States
for many years.
The spectacular early fall weather continues. Our days have been picture perfect. Bright sunshine, little wind and temperatures around 70. As you can see the leaves have started to change and that will only get better for the next few weeks.
This past summer, the picturesque mid coast played host to an exciting partnership: Eben, a bright and enthusiastic intern, joined the Maine Outdoors team. As part of the Maine Tourism Association’s workforce development program, Tourism for ME, Eben’s internship promised adventure, learning, and a chance to experience the state’s vibrant outdoor industry.
